	From this page you can download software updates for your GPS. The model(s) that work with each update are listed in red. The updates are for correcting software bugs and/or to enhance the operation of your unit. See the descriptions below for specific information. Com Port Patch, Released December 15, 2004 (all models) For StreetFinder software under Windows XP -- if you cannot choose COM1 when you click on the "Cobra Connect" button, then download and install this patch. Flash Loader Update, Released August 1, 2005 (GPS1000, GPS1080) Some updates may require a later version of the Flash Loader. To check the version of your Flash Loader, press and hold the MENU and FIND buttons and then press POWER. The version will be displayed on the screen. Power down after checking the version. This update will install Flash Loader version 0.81 Map Offset and Southern Hemisphere Patch, Released August 1, 2005 (GPS1000, GPS1080) If after downloading a map into your GPS you notice a large offset (your position on the display does not match-up with the street you are on), then download and install this patch. This patch also fixes an issue where coordinates appear to be 180° out of phase if you are south of the equator. This patch requires Flash Loader version 0.8 or higher (see above).
